- 01A: You are not alone and feeling this way, is extremely hard. We all need hope, and a trust in our ability to change. And at Hosted Healing we believe that healing is possible at any stage of life. Jakobs story, isn't one of a kind, there are many people who have used for many years, and found another way through. So regardless of the method, modality, or proces, we believe that it is never too late. Hosted Healing offers compassionate, personalized support, grounding its approach in real experience and understanding that lasting change begins when you decide it’s time. Remember; - no one can make the change for you. We provides a wide range of connections within the plant medicine community and professional networks to guide you - but only when you are ready!
- 02A: No, you do not have to be sober before reaching out to Hosted Healing. We understand that everyone is at a unique point in their healing journey, and we are here to provide compassionate, non-judgmental, and confidential support whenever you feel ready to talk. Our priority is creating a safe space for you without any judgment. However, if you choose to attend one of the retreats, please be aware that attending is subject to the specific policies set by the retreat itself, which may have their own requirements regarding sobriety. We encourage you to reach out to us for guidance and support.
- 03A: No. Jakobs story is a man's story, and it's personal: twenty years of using, from his late twenties until he was about 45. But what we offer isn't limited to men. If you're at the point where you want to stop and what you've tried hasn't worked, you're welcome here, whoever you are.Jakob is someone who's been there, and he will walk alongside anyone who wants company, before, during and after.
- 04A: Hosted Healing offers confidential, private conversations and personalized journeys led by Jakob, who brings his lived experience of overcoming addiction to guide others toward meaningful change. Each journey is carefully designed both for you and with you, ensuring it aligns with your unique needs and goals. Additionally, Hosted Healing integrates insights from Jakob’s experience with plant medicine to provide compassionate support that fosters self-discovery and growth. The services focus on creating a safe, supportive environment that combines companionship with practical insight, helping clients navigate their path to recovery and personal transformation.
- 05A: Then Jakob is still there. "After" doesn't end the moment things get hard. That's exactly when it matters most.Jakob won't promise you a straight line, because his own path wasn't one. Even though the first Ayahuasca ceremony had a profound impact in his life, it isn't the same outcome for everyone. And he too, still has to learn and grow. And remember what you define as wrong doesn't erase what you've been through, and it doesn't disqualify you from going forward, and have company on your way. There's no judgment and no starting over from zero, only the next conversation. We believe that you are not your addiction, you are someone who had found relief in a substance, and is now ready for a change.
